Despite being the UK’s leading masonry paints brand with a rich heritage and wealth of technical expertise in every product, Sandtex’s existing lifestyle imagery was dated and heavily trade-focused. With such an extensive colour palette and product offering not being showcased properly, our task was to transform the lifestyle photography to broaden the brand appeal to a younger demographic.
Since 2015, we have organised annual consumer photoshoots for Sandtex, creating a bank of eye-catching and stand-out imagery for use on social media, website and marketing collateral.
From conception to execution, we manage every aspect of the shoot process; from developing initial concepts and mood boards to securing shoot locations, organising logistics and post-production. Partnering with industry-revered stylists, photographers and set-builders, we have been passionate in our efforts to alter the brand perception within the UK consumer press, creating inspirational, vibrant and playful lifestyles that showcase Sandtex’s impressive colour offering.
The desire for more content that showcased the paint quality, colour and ease-of-application led us to make a series of mini DIY videos for use on social media. Working with our video production agency, we created eight ‘how-to’ video guides of exterior upcycling tasks. With the aim of encouraging consumers to bring colour to the garden, the videos served to help engage a new audience through easy, afternoon DIY projects.
